TIRANA, April 13/ATA/ Albania with its natural, historical and cultural beauties remains a favorite tourist attraction of foreign and domestic tourists. In recent years, in our country have increased the accommodation facilities for receiving tourists from north to south.

Prime Minister Edi Rama put a question to his followers on instastory on the social network Instagram, in the section “100 days, 100 achievements”, on how many more accommodation facilities for visitors are today than in 2013, 1200 or 2190 ″.

PM Rama emphasized that, “There are 2190 more accommodation facilities for visitors today than in 2013. During the last 8 years, we have tripled the accommodation facilities for visitors and tourists to 3264 such from only 1074 that were in 2013”.

Albania is very rich in natural beauty, such as beautiful mountain landscapes and stunning coastline, which we often find in the most prestigious guides and magazines in the world. But, in addition to these, a special place is occupied more and more by cultural tourism, where numerous museums and forts throughout Albania are attracting an ever-increasing number of local and foreign visitors./p.s./

TIRANA, April 12/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that in the third term this governance majority will do more for Albania and Albanians than it has been done in all other years taken together, including our two mandates.

“8 years ago, in the first winning campaign, I came to Gramsh and I told you that we will do in the next 4 years more than everyone else did for Gramsh, in all the years together and I kept my promise” , Rama said during a meeting in Gramsh.

I came in 2017, he continued, and I told you we will do even more.

“Today, I am saying you and all Albanians that the third term is not for me. This third mandate, starting from the foundations we have laid, starting from the building we have raised in all sectors is the mandate when we will do more for Albania, for the Albanians of Gramsh, than in all the years taken together, including our two mandates “, said Rama.

Although, continued the Prime Minister, we do not come from two mandates, but one mandate and a war that continues today and which we will win, either for the earthquake recovery, or with the invisible enemy.

“It is the mandate that we will do more for Albania and Gramsh,” he stated./p.s./

TIRANA, March 13/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that soon we will receive a significant amount of vaccines which will be used for vaccination of categories that have more interaction such as police and army officers, but also to move into an intensive vaccination of the elderly.

Accompanied by Minister of Health and Social Protection Ogerta Manastirliu, PM Rama was today at the “4 Dëshmorët” school in Tirana, where the process of vaccinating the teachers began.

The prime minister said that, “We are near a great news now, a few more days and I believe that we will receive another significant amount”.

“Then the challenge is to vaccinate as many people as possible so that to break the infection chain as much as possible before the summer season. We can go on more intensively with the elderly, continue intensively with all the rest, the Police, the Army, all those who have interaction. “Let’s deal a blow to the most dangerous chain and finally get the pensioners out of isolation”, he said.

Regarding the safety of AstraZeneca vaccines, Rama said that, “Today, I read the statement of the director of the Italian Institute of Public Health who said that it is all a false alarm based on no facts”.

“There is no evidence that some events are related to the vaccine and the suspension of a series was done only to have a 100% guarantee and to see what it came from, but there is no connection. Do not worry there is no possibility for the vaccine to continue circulation in case there would be problems. Our amount of vaccines came from Sweden and in fact in Great Britain they have made millions of AstraZeneca vaccines and have had no problems”, Rama told the teachers.

On her part, Minister Manastirliu said that, “We started today with the first 6 schools in Tirana coordinated with the Education Directorate of Tirana”./p.s./

In a statement to the media from the headquarters of the Socialist Party, Rama said that, “This is a hullabaloo created by the spokespersons of the public opinion headed by some pseudo-personalities. They launched a shameful offensive without any dignity, without any sense, why some people who are 80 years old plus are being vaccinated in the category of 80 year olds plus. If someone will give me an argument that among the 80-year-olds, former president Alfred Moisiu should be vaccinated last, not the first, I am ready to hear it”, said Rama,

The prime minister said that, “To do all this for 20-30 people who have given this country a lot and are still contributing to the creation of sisterly, spiritual, cultural, historical values of this country, this is shameful.”

The prime minister stressed that, “We are in a situation where we are struggling hard day and night to provide as many doses of vaccines as possible. Keep in mind that 70% of the vaccines produced today on the planet are taken from 10 countries, the other 30% is distributed among many other countries including Albania and 140 countries, including countries in the region have not had access to vaccination.”

“I understand very well that if we look today at the ratio of population and need to the doses we have, the doses are small. But, let’s not forget that we have started vaccination and our challenge is not to stop because of not having doses, but to have more doses. Very soon we will have more doses and we will prove once again that when a problem arises in this country, then there is only one address to solve the problem, Edi Rama and the Socialist Party”, said the prime minister./j.p/p.s./
