Prime Minister Edi Rama said that these will be two fantastic days filled with activities and music, while he invited tourists not to miss these local events.

“‘Mokra in fest’ on August 18 and 19, where history, culture, tradition, customs, hospitality, toast, etc. are combined. Follow the events of this week at TEA (Tourist Event Application), your guide for these holidays”, said Rama.

This event organized by the municipality of Pogradec consists of traditions, customs, cooking, sports, games, concerts, horse riding. This year’s “Mokra in Fest” will have 2 unforgettable moments.

The event will start on August 18, in the evening at 20:00, where groups of young people from Pogradec, Korça, Librazhdi, etc. will spend the night near the Golik bridge. The organizers have planned to have karaoke, live music, observation of the sky with a telescope, etc. The night will be long and with music while waiting for the big day of the celebration.

On August 19, at 10:00, there will be a concert, exhibitions, cooking, water sports, horseback riding, children’s games and much more.

The area of Mokra is considered as a touristic, cultural and historical potential.

Mokra is also known as the capital of the first Illyrian kingdom. The monumental historical evidence is shown through the 5 graves of Selca on the hill called Gradishtë. /m.m/p.s./
