In Finiq, flames near the village of Livinë have been brought under control and currently pose no threat to homes. Fire suppression operations are being carried out both from the air, using a Black Hawk helicopter and a Croatian Canadair aircraft, and from the ground.

Firefighting crews remain positioned around the village, ready to respond immediately, the MoD said, emphasizing authorities are maintaining full alert to prevent any risk to local communities.

In Mirditë, firefighting efforts continue with aerial support. An Italian Canadair plane has carried out seven water drops, releasing approximately 50,000 liters over the affected areas.

The ministry highlighted that aerial interventions are coordinated with ground crews and firefighting equipment working to isolate and fully extinguish the fires.
