“Toward Albania 2030! It is an honor and a responsibility for me, after leading the Albanian Parliament, to receive the trust of Prime Minister Rama and the Socialist Assembly to head the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

Albania’s integration into our natural European family by 2030 is not merely a political objective, but our historic mission. The prestige, strength, and dignity of Albania and Albanians everywhere are, have been, and will remain the duty of honor of my life. With unwavering confidence and many challenges ahead, we move together toward a European future. Grateful.”

“For a diplomat, it is an extraordinary honor, but also a great responsibility to lead the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs,” said Acting Minister Igli Hasani in a social media post.

“Over the past two years, I’ve been honoured to serve in this role with humility—making a daily effort to understand the work from my colleagues’ perspectives and to uphold Albania’s dignified representation and interests on the international stage,” Hasani noted.

Hasani emphasized that he carried out his duties with the conviction that the only sustainable path lies in strengthening institutions and upholding integrity. He added that effective diplomacy is rooted in collaboration, substance, and credibility.
