Minister Denaj announced on Tuesday that this document will establish the links between the goals and objectives of the policy as part of a mid-term framework.

“We shared opinions on how we can improve and make budget policies more efficient. The common goal is to set up a system that increases transparency, accountability and fiscal discipline for better use of financial resources,” she said.

Through this program, the Minister said that we aim to further finance the reconstruction process, manage the impact of pandemics, move ahead with major infrastructure projects, as well as support priority sectors such as education, healthcare, agriculture, but also social issues and local government.

The Medium Term Budget Program (MTBP) is an operational instrument for managing public expenditure and a key component of the Integrated Planning System.
