Minister Mete expressed his appreciation for the support given by the Dutch government in the framework of reforms in a number of sectors and in the light of integration process, through assistance, financing and various programs.

The minister affirmed the fact that the economic and commercial cooperation between Albania and the Netherlands has increased in recent years and expressed the commitment to deepening them, emphasizing the opportunities offered by our country in sectors such as agriculture, tourism, infrastructure and energy.

For his part, Ambassador Vos expressed the Dutch government’s interest in intensifying economic relations between the two countries and increasing the presence of Dutch companies in Albania.
The stock of Dutch investments in Albania has increased throughout the period 2018-2023, reaching the maximum value of 2 billion euros in September 2023. According to the data, there are 85 Dutch companies currently operating in our country, 66 of which have 100% Dutch capital, while the trade volume for the year 2023 hit the value of 113.3 million Euros.
