“Nothing is a fatality. April 25 is a fire test day for everyone for what has been done so far and for what will be done in the future. We have seen 2 and 3 faced people. On April 25, we will see how every politician of Albania will be put to the fire test,” he said.

“I am Ilir Meta, I maintain the same attitude towards the ambassadors, the opposition and Edi Rama regarding any important issue related to the affairs of Albania. April 25 will be a test for everyone. I am going to this fire test with the conviction that I have fulfilled my duty to the country. I will do it even after April 25th. No one can avoid April 25,”Meta said.

Regarding the entry of opposition in elections with two lists, Meta said that he prefers not to meddle into the affairs of opposition.

“Yet, I have two things to say about Mrs. Kryemadhi for all I know her. She was wrong in boycotting parliament in an act of senseless solidarity. But two things are unlikely to happen, the possibility of SMI building a coalition with Edi Rama and second, the possibility of SMI doing backdoor deals with oligarchs or PPPs. I am sure these two will never happen,’ he said.
