The Prime Minister stressed that the result from the ballot boxes should send out a unified message from the Albanian people to Brussels, transcending party lines and political ideologies that Albania wants to join the EU as soon as possible.

Therefore, the Prime Minister emphasized that on May 11, what is needed is not an election with a result that may be numerically advantageous for the Socialist Party, but a result that is meaningful for Brussels and the EU member states.

The Prime Minister remarked that this new team for Shkodra is being introduced to the youth, the new generation of Shkodra people, expressing his confidence that “on May 11, they will overwhelmingly support our political force.”

The Prime Minister underscored the importance of May 11 elections for the European integration process, stating, “On May 11, we are called to make a very clear decision to push forward the EU membership process.”

“We are called to determine our European time and fate. Unlike previous times when the EU told us that your country is here and your future is with us, today the EU is ready to truly make us a part of it. For the first time since we started this journey in the early ’90s, the possibility of us becoming an EU member is real, concrete, and present,” added Rama.
