“EU and our neighbours in Western Balkans will always be stronger together. Her visit to the region this month will send a strong signal of our commitment to accession process. We owe it to all young people who believe in a European future.

This is why we are ramping up our support through our new investment and economic plan, worth around a third of the region’s GDP. Because an investment in the future of Western Balkans is an investment in the future of EU,” Von der Leyen’s message reads. //a.i/
