The meeting initiated by the Commission for Foreign Policy and Diaspora of Kosovo revolved around the regional cooperation, the European perspective of our region and the exchange of mutual experiences in this regard.

In their remarks, Kodheli and Tabaku highlighted the importance of regional cooperation and acting as a single group. For Kodheli, sharing information as well as occasional exchanges with neighbors are of high importance.

On the other hand, Tabaku, describing the integration process as a strategic issue, but amid recent developments in the international arena, also as a security-related issue, said that we should use the integration process for the transformation of our countries. She underlined the importance of the approximation of legislation and also the speed with which this process is being carried out.

The meeting was followed by the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation towards European integration, good neighborly relations and harmonization with Euro-Atlantic values between the Commissions for Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Kosovo, Albania and North Macedonia.
