During the meeting, Linda Rama thanked Emine Erdoğan for her invitation to the exhibition and fashion show “Treasures of the Bride: A Journey Through Ottoman and Anatolian Dowries.”

The meeting revolved around the shared cultural values between Albania and Türkiye.

In a social media post, Emine Erdoğan said after the meeting: “As part of our official visit, we met in Tirana with Linda Rama, the esteemed spouse of the Prime Minister of Albania. We discussed issues that will further strengthen the historical and cultural ties between our two countries. We share the belief that the relations between our nations will deepen further through mutual visits.”

Afterwards, Emine Erdoğan, accompanied by Linda Rama, visited the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet, where they attended the artistic performance staged there.

The program began with a folk dance performance titled “Celebration Day.” The activity featured the performance “Kaba” with clarinet and violin, a solo rendition of the song accompanied by the Iso Polyphonic Orchestra, as well as dance and contemporary ballet performances.

Later, First Lady Erdoğan headed to the Brigade Palace together with Linda Rama. At the palace, Mrs. Erdoğan toured the corridor where the “xhubleta,” a hand-crafted woollen dress known for its fitted waist and worn by women in the mountainous regions of Northern Albania, was displayed, along with other traditional Albanian clothing. She was informed about these garments during her visit.

Emine Erdoğan, who also visited other parts of the palace, attended a lunch hosted by Linda Rama in her honour.

“I enjoyed watching the special performance by the National Folk Dance Ensemble, which showcased the rich cultural heritage of the country. Afterwards, we visited the exhibition of traditional garments that showcase the timeless beauty of Albanian culture at the Brigade Palace, one of the landmark buildings of Tirana. Each garment tells a different story, carrying the values of the Albanian people to this day,” First Lady Erdoğan writes on her social media account.
