During the meeting, Çela briefed Ambassador Kasnyik with the Albanian government’s vision, putting the emphasis on year-round tourism by 2030.
Çela went on saying that, “This vision is centered on the infrastructure and the construction of key public works, including ports and airports to propel the tourism sector into development.”

The Ambassador of Hungary, for her part, confirmed the increasing interest of Hungarian citizens in visiting Albania, not just during the summer season but also in the winter.

To serve Hungarian, international, and local tourists, Albanian tourism has now launched the Digital Event Calendar, TEA.
Over 50,000 Hungarian citizens have visited our country during the period from January to October 2024, marking a 16% increase compared to the previous year.
