The festival places Albanian capital on the international artistic calendar.

The Centre for Openness and Dialogue (COD) said that the Mediums contemporary theatre festival opened at Centre’s Radura hall with the show “I Introduce you with Albania,” a great and inspiring monologue that summarizes autobiographical stories, excerpts from writings by Pier Paolo Pasolini and authorial reworks by Klaus Martini.

The Contemporary Theatre Festival is a platform aimed at raising awareness and interest in theatre and dramatic arts in Tirana through contemporary international performances, to promote professional dialogue, to educate the audience on an artistic and aesthetic level.

The event aims to become an annual initiative with a long-term impact on increasing the audience and the number of artists and collaborators involved. The festival will offer more opportunities for young artists and Tirana art-lovers.
