TIRANA, July  27  /ATA/ – By I.Vata/  The chairman of the parliamentary group for Democracy and Integration, Fatmir Mediu, during a meeting with the Parliament Speaker Lindita Nikolla, asked for information about the documents and materials of the Dossiers Authority for a senior politician who has a file with the former State Security.

In a media statement after the meeting, Mediu said that “those figures who have been implicated in the past and have dominated public and political life for the most part in 30 years in various institutions should be left out of high-level public activity.”

Also, after the meeting with Nikolla, the chairwoman of the parliamentary group of the Justice, Integration and Unity Party, Mesila Doda underlined the importance of making a law to break with the dark past, while she urged Nikolla to lustrate the image of the MPs.
