We are strengthening medical teams across Albania and delivering high-quality services for citizens,” says Koçiu in a Facebook post.

Dr. Viola Kavani explains that after completing her doctoral studies in Italy, she returned to Albania with the goal of practicing medicine and contributing her dedication and professionalism to the field.

“I am Dr. Viola Kavani, a pediatrician. I worked in Tirana at QSUT, then went to Italy to pursue my doctoral studies, and I have returned to Albania to work as a doctor. I applied via the ‘Doctors for Albania’ portal, and the process seemed very efficient to me.”

The other three doctors, Anila, Iris, and Olta, say that they answered the call of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection for “Doctors for Albania” and say that the entire process was transparent and based on merit.

“I am Anila Skënderi, a cardiologist. I applied as a doctor at a health center in Tirana, and the application process was online and transparent,” she says.
