The Chairwoman of the AMA stated that a Memorandum of Understanding is already in place with the Polish regulator, which has strengthened the ties and paved the way for sharing of experience and expertise between the two parties.

During the course of this working meeting, according to Chairwoman Krasniqi, discussions focused on the current challenges within the media market, European regulatory frameworks and the advancement of Media Literacy process, recognized as a key instrument in promoting a media-literate audience with a critical approach.

“I responded to their interest regarding the legal transpositions the Authority has undertaken as part of alignment with EU legislation, the forthcoming amendments we are drawing up in the framework of implementing the Digital Services Act (DSA), the European Media Freedom Act (EMFA), and other key steps aimed at further regulating the audio and audiovisual market,” said Krasniqi. She also noted that new avenues for cooperation were opened up, particularly in exchanging experiences and expertise essential to our work, and it was agreed to organize joint activities.
