TIRANA, June 14 /ATA/ Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, Evis Kushi, spoke on Monday through a video message regarding the concern of high school graduates over the math test.

MoESY immediately after the math exam has established independent working groups which are made up of experts in the field of mathematics, experienced teachers and high school graduates. They have analysed in detail and carefully evaluated each question in the test, compatibility with the curricula, scientific accuracy and level of difficulty.

Minister Kushi at the end of this analysis said that, “based on the concerns of graduates, teachers, parents, and considering the situation of an unprecedented and adverse year due to the pandemic, although the high school graduates across the country have attended face to face classes every day, except for 10 high- risk municipalities where schools shifted to online learning for 6 weeks, we have decided to meet the demand of graduates to lower the minimum threshold for each grade.

The Minister also underlined that after the completion of the State Matura process 2021, MoESY will make an in-depth analysis, in order to identify all possible problems and complete review of the entire Matura process, regulatory acts for this process and its administration.
She wished success to high school graduates in the elective exam of the next day. /j.p/sm/
