On the most special day for the children, Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu, joined them to celebrate and see the art works of the students that were displayed at this fair.

“I am delighted that today I am among you in an amazing fair that emanates elements of tradition, culture and art through children’s works,” Minister Manastirliu said.

She emphasized the importance of the National Program “Art, Craft, Sport”, which has made it possible to encourage and promote creativity in schools.

“Under the national program “Art and Crafts” launched two years ago, we have stimulated and promoted children’s creativity in 200 schools across the country from north to south. Our main goal is to promote the Albanian culture and tradition,” Manastirliu said.
The program has engaged over 700 teachers in 200 schools so far and the aim is to extend it to all schools countrywide.
“I am convinced that many of you through the “Art and Crafts” program have discovered hidden talents and many teachers know where they can teach even more skills and knowledge so that the emerging talents in our schools can grow in the future. Therefore, we have decided to extend this “Art and Crafts” program to 100 other schools in the upcoming school year.”
