In reply to the chairman of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, who demanded the resignation of Minister Manastirliu in connection with the arrest of MoHSP secretary general, she emphasized: My position is firm and clear not only on this case from which as an institution, we distance ourselves completely. We have always have been firm on our stand against the violation of law, be it abuse of office and embezzlement.

Minister Manastirliu emphasized that “it is definitely a sad and serious event. The judicial institutions must perform their function. The responsibility is individual.”

According to her, no one’s actions can smear all the employees of an institution.

“This is the reason we implemented the justice reform. We have chosen to follow an uncompromising path. Before the law, everyone is equal. I understand that you on the right have a hard time understanding this. It’s difficult for you to come to terms with this fact, because in the jungle of your government whoever violated the law was protected. Whoever was under investigation continued to run financial institutions, even from home. Whoever killed was sheltered in high state institutions. Whenever the prosecution was to act, it would get hassled from you.”
