Their collection, stored in the Historical Archives of Manastir, contains 6702 glass negatives, 2087 film plans and 1071 film rolls, 7041 photographic prints, 3867 documents and 49 cameras and other materials, while the Cinematheque of North Macedonia stores a number of films that they realized with “Camera 300”, from which they are also known as the founders of cinematography in North Macedonia.

The exhibition pays special attention to the moving populations, ethnographic approximations and similar rituals of the peoples of the Balkans, which we find reflected in the journeys of the Manakis in the region.

This is one of the events of the summer season “KultArt” 2023, organized by the Ministry of Culture and carried out in cooperation with the State Archive of the Republic of North Macedonia – Department of Manastir.

The exhibition will remain open for several months, at the venues of the “Marubi” Museum. /p.s./
