“Regarding social protection, in addition to the pension scheme which will benefit 730,000 pensioners through indexing, the end-of-year bonus, the bonus that will be reviewed at the end of 2024, as well as the special account that will be opened at the Bank of Albania to address the pension needs during 2025, based on the performance of the Albanian economy, the 2025 budget will benefit 62,000 families on economic assistance, for which 72 million euros will be allocated. Furthermore, 181 million euros is the budget allocation for 164,000 persons with disabilities, along with their respective caregivers.”
“Around 800 million lek will be allocated for the payment of unemployed individuals, who will receive unemployment allowance in accordance with ILO standards, but there will also be professional training courses for them.
