TIRANA, Jan 23 /ATA/ – Albania is attracting strong interest from international markets at the FITUR International Tourism Fair in Madrid, one of the world’s leading tourism industry events, Prime Minister Edi Rama said on Friday.

Albania is presenting itself at the fair under the slogan “Albania All Senses”, promoting its tourist destinations, authentic products and the country’s full range of tourism services.

Sharing images from the event on social media, Rama said FITUR, which brings together tourism professionals from around the world, was drawing significant attention to Albania as a year-round destination.

“At the Madrid tourism fair, a meeting point for tourism professionals with more than 160 countries and over 10,000 companies worldwide, Albania is receiving extraordinary attention from international markets as an authentic, all-season tourism destination,” Rama said.

The five-day event hosts tourism industry professionals, policymakers and visitors interested in learning more about international destinations and tourism offers.

Tourism has become one of Albania’s most dynamic economic sectors, driven by rising visitor numbers, infrastructure investment and efforts to align with international standards, positioning the country as an increasingly competitive destination in the region and beyond.
