Mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj inspected today the works on the road that connects Lundra area with the Tirana-Elbasan highway and the Big Ring Road, which greatly facilitates the movement of vehicles.

He said that thanks to this bypass, there is given a solution to the residents and businesses of this area.

The head of the municipality underlined that thanks to investments and infrastructure improvement, this area has now become one of the most coveted areas in the capital.

He asked for the cooperation of citizens in order not to become an obstacle to development projects.

Veliaj stated that each of the old residents already understands that he lives in a house where the value of the property has increased 3-4 times higher.

He assured that after the summer holidays, the citizens will see a total transformation and a great ease in communication.

Veliaj underlined that the urbanization of these areas have also transformed Lundra and Mullet into an urban neighborhood of Tirana.

This road will also serve as a connecting road between the Southeast Terminal area and Elbasan road on one side with a number of other roads, residential complexes, schools and businesses./k.s/p.s./
