Rama shared on social networks shared footage of the verbal argument with the MP, adding the caption: ‘What mental misery’!

Socialist MP Luarasi said earlier that she would denounce this case, asking the justice system to act.

“I do not claim to represent these women who confuse activism with aggression, protest with ambush and courage with insult, but I represent other women and girls who work and raise their voices with dignity, those who do not need a group, a camera and a victim to feel powerful. I face criticism, I answer questions, but I do not accept slander, threats and violence”, she said. /gj.m/r.e/p.s./

Her son Eldon Luarasi gave the sad news.

Edi Luarasi performed since she was very young; she was on the stage since 1956. Then, she was 16 and together with her sister, they used to sing at the stage of the “Variety Show”.

She graduated in 1963 and was appointed at the National Theatre. Her first role was that of Vera at “House at Boulevard” drama in 1963 directed by Kujtim Spahivogli.

She performed for ten years at the stage of the theatre until January 22, 1974 when she was expelled from the National Theatre for political reasons.

Following the collapse of communism, she was back at the theatre stage in March 1991.

She held the title of “Merited Artist”.

Minister of Culture Elva Margariti appreciates in her message of condolences that Edi Luarasi was an emblem of the XI Festival of the Song on Albanian Radio-Television.

The communist regime strongly condemned the Festival.

“Goodbye Edi Luarasi, talented, beautiful, noble, emblem of the XI Festival.

May you rest in peace next to your husband, with whom you shared a life full of difficulties, the successes of the stage and the persecution for the sake of art”, said the minister./r.e/p.s./
