The Bank of Albania announces that the specific share of loans for agriculture is 1.4% of overall lending to businesses.
Agriculture is regarded as a sector with great potential to increase lending.

With a growing contribution to domestic economy, employment and exports, agriculture has become the priority of government policies also increasing business interest in startups in many areas of agriculture.

Experts expect that lending will expand even more in the coming period, driven by the various support schemes that the government is applying in cooperation with foreign programs.

While the sovereign guarantee scheme for farmers worth 1 billion ALL is another support for farmers, which created access to credit from second-level banks. /a.a/sm/
