The jury of the Special Appellate College composed of Chairperson Natasha Mulaj and members Rezarta Schuetz, relator, Albana Shtylla, Ina Rama and Mimoza Tasi announced the decision today, regarding the appeal of the subject of the re-evaluation Bardhok Lleshi against the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission dated 15.01.2021.

At the end of the trial in the counseling room, the panel of judges in a unanimous manner decided: The enforcement of decision of the Independent Qualification Commission on the subject of re-evaluation Bardhok Lleshi. This decision is final and has immediate effect.

During the review of Lleshi’s file, the Independent Qualification Commission raised doubts about the wealth criterion. During the hearing two years ago, the Commission raised doubts that the former prosecutor of Lezha had hidden assets and that he cannot prove the legal source of his assets. With these arguments, the Commission fired Lleshi from office. The former prosecutor requested the annulment of this decision in the Special Appellate College, which at the end of the review of the appeal upheld the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission./p.s./
