The Delegation of the European Union to Albania said the conference was organised by the Shejzat–Pleiades journal, with the support of the European Union, bringing together discussions on the works of Albanian authors who have written in different languages.

From Sami Frashëri and Pashko Vasa to contemporary diaspora writers, their works demonstrate how memory, identity and cultural belonging are expressed across linguistic boundaries.
The conference papers will be published in the Shejzat–Pleiades journal following the peer-review process.

In December, Tirana will also host the European Literature Festival in Tirana (FELT), another event dedicated to European literature.
