At the beginning of the conversation, PM Rama asked the singer about the recital held in Tirana a few days ago.

Lila said that she has been away for a long time, 27 years. But, she has lived in Rome where she studied baroque music. Hence, she feels stronger and more prepared artistically.

The singer also discovered an innovation that she brought to the recital about which PM Rama described as her fantastic madness.

“I mixed the lyrics of Lasgush Poradeci, “Slumber Lake” and attached it to Moxart. I have transformed it from a piano concerto into a song and it is an experiment that in Italy, the baroqueists who have heard it, have called it a fantastic madness. I really want you to listen to it, because when you listen to it, you will understand the experiment. In other words, the artistic world in which I lived was no longer enough for me,” said Lila.

The singer further said that she has been in Tirana every year. “I come, I have been coming all the time to Tirana. I just didn’t show up. I came with my daughter Evita every year. I mostly spend the New Year here; I spend Easter here. I often come in the summer because Evita prefers to spend the summer in the south of Albania. So, I have seen Tirana develop gradually, clean up gradually, evolve gradually and we have reached a fantastic moment. When I come with my Italian band half of them say they want to move here, it’s so nice. How clean it is compared to Rome, how safe it is as a city compared to Rome. There is crime in the streets of Rome at night, in the center. There, I don’t go out alone in the evening because it is dangerous to go out since many ethnic groups live together and crime has reached very high levels. I like Tirana so much that I am thinking that when Evita completes her studies, why not, we move in here, life is very good now, it is no longer Tirana of the past. You have done a fantastic job all together, as a team”, said Lila.

On his part, PM Rama said that Tirana has reached that point that one can enjoy more when on a visit. “Meanwhile, when you live in it, keep in mind that it has its own problems like any other country and there are still many things to do”, said Rama. /p.s./

A few hours before going on stage, Mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj received Elsa Lila. Veliaj said that Albanians are proud of the well-known singer, for all her success, not only in Albania, but also in Italy, where she has been living for 26 years.

“We are very proud of you. It has been a great blessing and pleasure for us to support you”, said Veliaj, who also gave the singer as a present the symbolic clock tower.

After thanking the mayor, Elsa Lila extended one last invitation for all those who have not yet bought the ticket: “Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart for the support, for the love and I’m waiting for you all tonight at the Palace of Congresses, to sing my songs of these 27 years!”

All of Elsa’s songs, which we have heard and sung for years, such as: “Pyes lotin”, “Vetëm një fjalë” or “Evita”, the song dedicated to her daughter, will be part of the concert. Elsa Lila will be accompanied in this important event of her career by an Italian musical band, part of which is composer Enrico Melozzi, who has conducted the orchestra of the Sanremo Festival several times, while singer Pirro Çako will be the special guest./p.s./

The well-known singer herself, winner of the Albanian Radio and Television Festival several times, expressed in the social media her emotions about this first recital concert of hers.
