Speaking about the 2022 budget for Youth and Children, the prime minister said that filling the gap from school to home for young people is important and the government has as a priority the financing of libraries or special funds for young talents and on the other hand their participation in volunteer actions mainly for cleaning up of Albania. .

Rama said that in all the schools after the earthquake we have built fantastic spaces for libraries, but they are poor, and for this we have a special fund for the enrichment of school libraries.

“But, libraries are just one of the elements. The other element is the space for the practice of artistic talents from painting, to dance, music, theatre, for which we want to organize a completely new system by creating a first level in schools based on desire and a second level, more qualified, based on the selection of those who are more advanced. We have placed a fund at your disposal that will be set in motion by you,” he said.

Regarding sports, Rama said that two hours of physical education per week is not enough, but it is better than not at all, at a time when the government started working, they had removed physical education altogether.

“Now, it is the time to take the relationship between school and sport to another level by giving opportunities to all those who want to do more sports to have the space and conditions to do more sports, beyond those two hours that are part of the teaching process “, he said./a.a/r.e/p.s./
