The road will significantly cut distance and drive time to the central city of Elbasan and it will also open up new perspective for development of rural agrotourism and agriculture in the area.

Inhabited since ancient times, the village of Labinot Mal boasts a stunning lush landscape with vegetation and walnut trees covering entire area, as well as the surrounding forest area.

Labinoti Mal, administrative unit part of the central Albanian municipality of Elbasan, comprises 9 villages and it is home to a number of Illyrian-era tombs, indicating that the area was inhabited since that time. The area also features the ruins of a fourth century-church cemetery and a 400-year-old mosque.

Once part of the area of Çermenike and now part of Elbasan municipality, the village of Labinot Mal was consigned into oblivion over the years, but the area is now totally accessible and provides local residents access to bigger markets.
