Through a video message, Kushi has made an open call for all representatives of the academic world to apply for positions as “General Director” or as one of the 11 members of the Accreditation Board, in the framework of further consolidation of ASCAL, whereby a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 members must be foreign citizens.

The Minister underlines that the increase of the quality of Higher Education and the approximation with the best European standards, are among the major goals of the new term of office set out in the National Education Strategy 2021-2026, which is in the phase of public consultation and is set to be adopted soon.

“In the light of this goal, we aim to open the doors of our universities for close cooperation with the most prestigious European universities and to create the adequate conditions for our students to be able to receive European degrees in the future, here in Albania,” minister Kushi said.

In this way, she adds, “we can equip them with the knowledge and skills to compete with European Union students.”
To achieve these, Minister Kushi highlights the necessity of engaging professional people, with integrity and committed to do the best for the education system, where the Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education holds a special place.
