According to this memorandum, the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, through the National Tourism Agency, will design tourist itineraries and provide tourist guidance through guides certified by this ministry.

“I am very pleased to welcome to the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, a friend of Albania, a high -level diplomat who is also the rector of the College of Europe here in Tirana. I am happy that this college will not only welcome Albanian students, but students from all over Europe and together with Federika we have decided to give these students not only the knowledge for which the College of Europe offers the best skillset possible that could be imagined in the field of diplomacy and political science, but let’s also give them a good taste of Albania because they go hand in hand. We will do our best to give them the opportunity to explore Albania, to enjoy Albania, why note to become future ambassadors of touristic Albania, of cultural Albania, of European Albania. So today we signed a MoU precisely to groom together not only leaders of the future, but also ambassadors who will present Albania with their personal taste,” Minister Kumbaro said during the signing of the memorandum.

“It is an honor and pleasure for me to be here in Tirana, but especially to sign this memorandum of understanding, which is a very good, very important and interesting opportunity for our students and the College community. I am very proud that thanks to this cooperation that we signed today, we will offer our students the opportunity to explore the cultural heritage, natural beauty, history and everything that Albania has to offer. This will significantly improve the students’ learning process because an integral part of knowledge is about understanding local and regional history and culture,” Mogherini said.
