Foreign Minister Xhaçka and her Ukrainian counterpart Kuleba agreed that Ukraine and Western Balkans deserve a clear EU perspective.

“This is the moment. The Western Balkans just as Ukraine deserve a clear European perspective. In the meantime, Albania will continue its unwavering commitment to Ukraine and do whatever it can at the United Nations Security Council to isolate Russia and help bring war to an end,” Albania’s diplomacy chief stated.

According to her, Albania will stand with Ukraine in the OSCE, the European Union, NATO, the UN Security Council and every international forum to defend European security architecture and international order.

The meeting between Xhaçka and Kuleba took place just few minutes before a working dinner of NATO foreign ministers in Berlin.

After the NATO foreign ministers meeting, Foreign Minister Xhaçka will travel to Brussels to attend a meeting of the EU top diplomats and the foreign ministers of the Western Balkans countries upon invitation from the EU Foreign Policy Chief Josep Borrell.
