The two ministers discussed the expansion of cooperation with France in livestock, agriculture, agro-processing, veterinary medicine and agro-environmental services between the two countries.

Minister Krifca, in addition to the request to expand contacts between French markets and Albanian producers, also expressed interest in extending the livestock assistance project not only to Korça and Gjirokastër, but also to other regions.

The ministers also agreed to devise a concrete work plan for quality cooperation in the form of technical assistance to strengthen the payment agency and increase the exchange of practices and standards on the current EU policies in agriculture, an agreement which is expected to be signed in next spring in Tirana.
