In a meeting with farmers of Armen, Vlora, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Frida Krifca, said that the commitment to disburse the fund to farmers as soon as possible is a need already met for this link of Albanian agriculture.

The Minister informed that work is in full swing in this regard, as another fund for oil has been added as part of the social resistance package worth 500 million ALL for agricultural mechanization.

This support has been one more impetus for farmers of Armen, who are a clear example of cooperative work. About 17 of them, mostly young farmers have come together to cultivate a surface area of almost 100 hectares. They cultivate fodder, which serves livestock.

Praising this initiative, the Minister said that these are key elements of agriculture, which should be embraced by the youth.

Minister Krifca announced the enforcement of the law on local action groups, which is a support mechanism for farmers across the country, giving them the opportunity to finance the necessary interventions in rural communities where they will operate. /j.p/sm/
