During the joint news conference with the President of the EC, when asked about the situation in Kosovo, Rama said that “practically this process and the summits in light of this process are not the place for solving bilateral issues.”

He added that “according to the agenda of the Summit, which has been prepared in tandem with the German Chancellery long ago, the working lunch of the leaders will also be dedicated to neighboring relations in the region, so the space for an open discussion among the attendees is scheduled, but it is not a summit, which undertakes to find solutions to problems related to a concrete issue as the President put it.”

The Prime Minister said that “these are problems that are dealt with and must be resolved under the umbrella of the EU.”
