TIRANA March 13 /ATA/ The Democratic Party MP and the chairperson of the Parliamentary Integration Committee, in a video message on social media, emphasizes that the integration process is meant for the citizens rather than for politics.

According to her, in the process of integration, the change should be in the interest of the citizen.

“The integration process is meant for the citizens. It is not a process meant for politics! Therefore, everything must be done in light of this process. What do citizens benefit from this process? People rather than politics should be at the center of change. First, the economy must be changed and reforms must be made to ensure integration of the market, integration of people, integration of diplomas, putting the citizen rather than politics at the center”, informs Tabaku.

“Secondly, we need to make sure that this happens in a functioning democracy. In a parliament that has its power to check and supervise and on the other hand that has the power to build reform to the benefit of the people. And here I want to single out anti-corruption first. What prevents the government, the parliament from establishing a system that is different from the current one. A system where the spirit of anti-corruption is reflected in every law, in every reform,” Tabaku says.

“Starting from public procurement laws to customs, to laws on the market and concessions. Everything should be about establishing the connection of the integration process with the people. “
