Kurti made these comments after visiting the scene of the terrorist attack. He was accompanied by the heads of the Police, the Intelligence Agency (AKI), and Minister of Interior, Xhelal Sveçla.

“We are here to see first-hand the scene of the incident and the extensive damage caused by last night’s terrorist and criminal attack, which has targeted critical infrastructure, significantly impacting both electricity production and the water supply,” said Kurti.

“Thanks to the dedicated efforts of these police officers, workers, engineers, and experts, we have been able to partially address the damage. However, we are currently operating at only about a quarter of the normal water flow through the Ibër-Lepenc canal, which is vital for cooling the thermo-power plants in Obiliq and providing water supply to numerous municipalities, including Pristina. The police are actively investigating, conducting raids, and making arrests. There is material evidence and testimony, and all of these criminals and terrorists will be held to account under the just laws of the democratic and independent Republic of Kosovo,” said Kurti. /KosovaPress/sm/
