Lajcak wrote that this meeting underscored the need to de-escalate the situation and return to dialogue.

“We had an important meeting with Senators Chris Van Hollen and Chris Muprhy, who closely follow the developments in the Western Balkans. We shared the same assessment of the situation and agreed on the need to de-escalate and return to dialogue and normalization,” Lajcak wrote on Twitter.
