Prime Minister Edi Rama highlighted this fact from the southeastern city, while also sharing some data on social media about tourism in the area.

“Over half a million visitors spend at least one night in Little Paris each year. A decade ago, fewer than 50,000 visited annually, and there were hardly any foreign tourists, while guesthouses were counted on one hand and struggled to stay afloat,” said Rama.

The time has come for Albania’s first ski center, a project that will place Korça on the map of European ski tourism and provide a significant boost to the economy of the entire region. The road connections with Kolonja and Permet have added even more value to the area’s appealing tourist offerings,” emphasized Prime Minister Rama.
