Prime Minister Edi Rama shared today in the social media views of the Korab mountain, considering them magical.

The Korab mountain range is a boundless alpine sanctuary. Endless emerald meadows and breathtaking vantage points create the illusion of touching the sky. Surrounded by vibrant wildflowers and diverse wildlife, every step offers a sweeping panorama of the horizon.

The Korab mountain range itinerary is very diverse and starts in Kërçin, Hinoska, Rabdisht, Gramë, Radomirë.

The full trail network takes five days to traverse, but shorter, one-day options are also available. Hikers can enjoy the archaeological sites, mosques and churches in Maqellara, before settling into the welcoming stables, campsites and guesthouses in Radomirë. /e.i/j.p/p.s./

TIRANA, October 3 /ATA/ The first snowfall has whitened Korab-Koritnik Natural Park in the first days of the early October.

This park has been attracting mountain climbing enthusiasts, but also skiing enthusiasts, during the recent years. The park offers natural skiing slopes for those who want to spend time and have fun with this winter sport.

Director of Kukës Protected Areas Administration Lefter Gjana told ATA today that “The snowfalls that began yesterday has covered this park, offering a stunning landscape, but it is also an invitation for nature and mountain climbing enthusiasts”.

“With the beginning of the snowfall, we expect that during this autumn and winter season we shall have many domestic and foreign tourists, who come in increasing numbers every year”, said Gjana.

Gjana also said that, “From January to the end of September 2025, 27,392 tourists visited this park, of which 15,860 were local and 11,532 were foreign. In September alone, this park was visited by 2,540 tourists, of which 1,530 were local and 1,010 were foreign”.

Gjana extended an appeal to all tourists that in these days when the paths are blocked in the mountainous areas and the weather is foggy, it would be better not to visit without obtaining information from the Regional Administration of Protected Areas Kukës, in order to prevent accidents.

Korab-Koritnik Natural Park is one of the most beautiful areas in Kukës region and northern Albania. It extends from an altitude of 400 meters above the sea level, up to 2,489 m (the peak of Gjallica) and you can find all the natural beauty and wonderful landscapes.

During the climbing to the mountain, visitors can also have a taste of other natural monuments, such as the “Gryka e Vanave”, the Bela waterfall and Lake Kallabaku, where they enjoy the panorama that this lake offers. /k.s/r.e/p.s./
