The ADZM (Protected Areas Administration) of Kukes shared views from this park set against an impressive backdrop under the spell of snow.

The views are from the area of Shishtavec, the lake of Kallabak where snow-covered landscape and the traces of the wildlife make a picturesque place that is worth visiting.

Korab-Koritnik Park boasts 25 natural monuments (the third category of protected areas in Albania). The summit of Korab Mountain, the highest in Albania, is one of a kind. Apart from it, the range has other ridges, with limestone and gypsum formations, covered with herbaceous plants and alpine pastures, different types of fragrant flowers during spring and summer.

Cold water springs, nature rich in diverse vegetation from medical to scenic, offer great opportunities to enjoy every detail of mountain tourism in Kukës.

The Korab-Koritnik Natural Park is the largest protected area in Albania until 2017 and is otherwise known as the “roof” of Albania. The alpine landscape with the Koritnik – Gjallica – Korab – Deshat mountain ranges makes it an impressive area with peaks rising and descending to the valleys and endless plateaus.
