During the inspection of this construction site, alongside Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, who is also the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Prime Minister Edi Rama praised the project, emphasizing that it will give a fresh boost to tourism in this blessed region of Albania.

In a conversation with the local residents, Prime Minister Rama stated that the road will spur even more tourism in the area.

“This road, which you were worried about, will now be constructed and will bring greater security and stability to all the work carried out by the two hydroelectric plants here. It will also significantly boost tourism. With all this immense beauty, you know how challenging it is to navigate, but it will be completed just like everything else we’ve done — well and beautifully,” said Rama.

The residents said that the construction of the road is a relief for the area.

The residents expressed their gratitude to the Prime Minister, highlighting that the long-awaited road project is finally taking shape, bringing relief to the area. They praised him for keeping his promise, unlike previous leaders who failed to deliver.

Rama said he was aware of the residents’ request but emphasized that patience is needed, as not everything can be done all at once.

According to him, the difference between those who make false promises and this government lies in the fact that this government delivers on its promises.

“I know you’ve been waiting for this for many years, but things take time, as we can’t do everything at once. It’s finally your turn, and we’re doing it now. We’ve divided the tasks—some focus on lying, that’s their role. We walk the talk. The problem is that patience is needed because not everything can be done at once, and not everything you think can be done when you want it to be. There are always other things that come up, but now it’s this project’s turn, and we will do it in the best way possible,” said Rama.
