Prime Minister Edi Rama shared footage in the social media of “Farma Sotira” located amidst the forests of Gërmenj.

According to Rama, the farm combines nature, tradition, fresh produce and Albanian hospitality into a unique agritourism experience.

“Farma Sotira” in Kolonja was honored with the International Agritourism Award 2024 at the International Agritourism Congress held in May in Bolzano, Italy.

Prime Minister Edi Rama published this morning in the social media a view from the new Kolonja road where the magic of nature is revealed.

Korça-Erseka road was inaugurated in October of the current year and connects the two municipalities in 20 minutes. Korça-Erseka road is 45 kilometers long, while the distance is now cut into 35 kilometers.

The construction of this road promotes the further tourist development of the south-east of the country by bringing two areas with great potential, such as Korça and Erseka, closer together. /r.e/p.s./

Under the auspices of the well-known painter Helidon Haliti, the artists stayed in Kolonja for 4 days, painting in different places, works of art which they produced at the closing exhibition.

“There are artists who have come from distant Peru, Canada, Turkey, Bulgaria, North Macedonia and of course our Albanian artists who actually here, in a way, just made some kind of history, because they found each other’s chemistry and not only the color, but also the language of a kind of philosophy which actually unites the generations”, stated Haliti.

Participating artists have highly appreciated the landscapes of Kolonja, so according to them, the arrival of so many well-known painters is a promotion of nature.

“It is the first time I come to Albania, a fantastic country, I am enjoying myself here. I met many good and talented artists, above all collaborators. Here I retired from the field of Kolonja and I am enjoying it in my own way”, said Jorge Corpuna, painter.

The group of foreign and Albanian painters, part of the international association of watercolorists under the leadership of the painter Helidon Haliti, have developed a series of activities during the month of May, touring the most beautiful places in Albania with the aim of promoting them. /p.s./

The Municipality of Kolonjë aims to plant several plots extending over a total area of ​​85.92 ha, with 7500 nut seedlings and 500 hazelnut seedlings as an integral part of an organic agricultural farm, conceiving the territory for an integrated agricultural business in the future. The Albania’s Prime Minister Edi Rama, accompanied by the mayor of Kolonja, Erion Isai and the SP candidate for MP, Olta Xhaçka inspected on Tuesday the works on the construction of the new water supply system in Leskovik.

“Over 120 water construction sites have been opened throughout the country and their closure will conclude the national water program from north to south,” the Prime Minister Rama said.

“I am pleased that the story of the water legend of water is coming to an end. There are 120 construction sites throughout Albania. The national water program on investments that are being made in all urban centers and intensive residential centers is concluded from the North to the South.
