This proposal takes a step forward the fulfillment of a national priority and European integration for the full functioning of this court.

With the adoption of the High Court Efficiency Guide, the Council has prioritized efforts to ensure that the Supreme Court regains the quorum needed to address backlogs and further the core objectives of the Justice Reform through the consolidation of a judiciary, fully independent, impartial, accountable, efficient and professional.

The appointment of these new judges, who have successfully passed the transitional re-evaluation process, is a guarantee for the responsible and professional fulfillment of the new challenges and, above all, the need to increase the confidence of the Albanian citizens in the judicial system.

The names of the judges proposed to the President of the Republic for appointment to the High Court are as follows: Sokol Binaj; Albana Boksi; Sander Simoni; Klodian Kurushi./r.e/p.s./
