Kim announced that throughout 2022, the US Embassy will commemorate the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between our two wonderful countries.

Throughout 2022 the US embassy will be commemorating the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between our two wonderful countries. I am so excited to share with you the logo that the USA and Albania will use for this important milestone. We hope you agree that it expresses the friendship between the American people and the Albanian people through colour, design and words. My personal favourite is that number 100 incorporates the symbol of infinity. As we celebrate 100 years together we celebrate how far we have come together and we also look ahead to achievements to come. As we move forward, may the American and Albanian people always stay together.

Xhaçka: Proud of commitment and increasing contribution of Albania in this strategic partnership
The year 2022 marks the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Albania and the United States, and on this anniversary, Albania is grateful to the United States and the American people for their generous and decisive support for our country.

This is what the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, said while publishing the logo of the celebrations.

“At the same time, we are proud of Albania’s increasing commitment and contribution to this strategic partnership. The ties that unite us are strong and we look forward with optimism to the deepening of friendship and partnership between us,” said Xhaçka.
