TIRANA, June  22  /ATA/ Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, on Thursday greeted the ambassador of the United States of America in Tirana, Yuri Kim, at the end of her mission in our country.

Balluku said that, “in her first speech as ambassador in Tirana, Yuri Kim said that her mission consisted of three main pillars, one of which was directly related to the portfolio of the ministry she helmed, economic development and business based on the principle of transparency and fair competition.”

“Everyone at that time thought that these were the next promises from one of the most important ambassadors for Albania, but no one could believe that she was very serious about her mission in our country and that she would become one of the most influential personalities for every Albanian,” Balluku said in a post on social media.

“Today, after more than three years of cooperation with Yuri Kim, I can say with deep conviction that my staff and I are living witnesses of her desire and passion to support and help Albania, we are happy that we had the opportunity to have on our side a woman who served this small country as if she were its daughter, a woman who with her persistence managed to deliver on the promises given in that first speech, when everyone believed that it was a speech written by the next councilors rather than her clear mission and vision,” said Balluku.

“Dear Yuri, I wish you a successful journey in the future and I am sure that Albania and the Albanians have a special place, forever in your heart, so I am sure that this is not a farewell. See you soon,” Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku concluded her post.
