In the video published by Prime Minister Rama, prof. Alma Idrizi, nephrologist at the Nephrology Ward in Tirana University Hospital Centre, informed that 135 citizens have successfully undergone kidney transplant procedure funded 100% by the state.

“A dream come true. Alban is back on his feet after the successful renal transplant procedure performed free of charge. 135 citizens have undergone kidney transplant procedures free of charge in non-public hospitals, with full support from the state, and continue to be followed up with utmost dedication by our medical teams at QSUT as part of a complete post-transplant package, which is also offered free of charge,” emphasized Rama.
