Kasami, a midfielder for Tetovo’s Shkëndija FC, North Macedonia, is currently in Denmark honing his skills at Lyngby, an academy renowned in the region for nurturing young talent.

The timing of this training stint is crucial for Kasami, as Albania’s U19 national team prepares for the upcoming qualifiers, and his current form is seen as a positive signal by the national team’s coaching staff.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity. This club has a long history of developing young players who go on to become big names,” Kasami said. “I started training on Monday and was welcomed very well. I’m trying to show my best side and help the team wherever needed. There are many talented players here at Lyngby, and I’m happy to learn from them.”

On the pitch, Kasami has been distinguished for his composure on the ball, tactical intelligence, and dedication in every training session. Coaches highlight his ability to read the game and maintain balance in midfield-qualities considered rare for a player of his age.

“I always go onto the field with the mindset of making it difficult for the coach, whether at the club or national team, when it comes to picking the lineup,” he added with a smile.

If he maintains his current trajectory and professional attitude, Kasami could become a name to watch, both in Danish football and on the international stage.

For now, his focus remains clear: giving his maximum effort every day and helping wherever the team needs him most – a work ethic that makes him valuable to both Lyngby BK and the Albanian U19 national team.
