Altes, during a conference on the achievements of the vetting process, stated that SPAK has taken significant steps that have increased the trust of citizens.

“Corruption continues to be a challenge, but SPAK has taken actions that have increased public trust. Although reforms are doable, fostering trust is essential, and we are witnessing growing confidence in institutions,” said Altes.
As part of the support for Albania, Ambassador Altes confirmed the Dutch government’s commitment to contribute to strengthening the capacities of SPAK and civil society in the fight against corruption.
“We remain committed through projects to enhance the capacities of SPAK and the techniques in various aspects of the judiciary, as well as to empower civil society. We are dedicated to supporting Albania and building a restorative justice-oriented judiciary,” she said.
